Close to one year after the start of the war in Ukraine, Eurojust invites media representatives to a press update on the joint investigation team (JIT) on alleged core international crimes committed in Ukraine, on Thursday 23 February at 11:00 (CET).
Media will be briefed on latest and future developments and support given to the JIT since its start in March 2022 by:
- Mr Ladislav Hamran, President of Eurojust
- Ms Margarita Šniutytė-Daugėlienė, Vice-President of Eurojust
- Ms Myroslava Krasnoborova, Liaison Prosecutor for Ukraine at Eurojust
- Mr Matevz Pezdirc, Head of the Genocide Network Secretariat at Eurojust
The press briefing will be on the record and held in English, in a hybrid format.
